Before I begin, I'd like to point you in the direction of a quote from my very first blog on here, and it went a bit like this.
"So, as you will know, this blog is called Day Dedication. It is all about dedicating your day to someone or something. They don’t necessarily have to be famous, but they must have done something in your day. As long as something has happened to you from them, then the day can be theirs.
Only two rules – they must have changed your day, and you can’t dedicate more than one day to any given person/thing. So it has to be a new dedicatee per day!"
So, technically, the last 150 days haven't really been exactly truthful. So, as some of you have noticed, I tried to change the format of my blog ever so slightly, and now it is more of a JOUNRAL, which I personally believe works better. It gives me a bit more to work with I guess!
Today then. Well, an odd one if I'm honest. Today was my third trip in 2 and a half weeks to the O2 Arena - and was probably the worst. To go from the euphoria of Saturday night to the quiet humming of air con units today was a bit bizarre. The exhibition was good. But it was very small, and there was very little of it. They need to expand it more to make it worthwhile.
Then on to tonight! Another strange night as well. This illness has obviously got to me a bit - I keep thinking in steps rather than it flowing naturally, so things come acorss either very suddenly, or not at all. Not great when you're trying to solve a problem.
So Isobel and I were trying to fix something (that, I hasten to add, has no direct affect on us), but we came to the same solution we do every single time. Which annoys me a hell of a lot. I am a bloke, at the end of the day, so I don't give in. But on the other hand, I'm doing my best to do what I can with what I have, and there is only one feasible solution, which doesn't go down too well.
But hey ho, hopefully everything will be fixed come 7 o'clock this morning. I have a text in my drafts folder waiting to be pinged into space and back once this is up!
