Yes, yes, I know. ANOTHER number. But this one actually isn't very significant. Not for a while anyway. It shall become apparent.
Having spent the night watching the Oscars on Sunday, falling asleep gone half 2 and getting up at 7, I preceded to watch the rest this afternoon. (And I must say, I cannot wait to see Up. Soundtrack is incredible) So I realised I needed something to 'do', as such.
So got up today, dragged myself all the way to Politics in record time - 7 minutes from mine to school - and felt very accomplished. Then off to the Girls School - at pace - and did that well as well. So things actually seemed to be alright on the fitness scale! And its the first day in ages that I've felt like that!
So I got in this afternoon, and finally decided to do something about it. We've organised next week's Sport Relief events, I've volunteered for Oxfam, and Damian and I are using the money we got from business to fundraise for charity. And this afternoon, I decided to try and continue my ventures for my chosen charity, and look into running a mini marathon. Then in a few years, do the full one. And I found the Bupa Run - which just so happens to be in the middle of May, so nice and warm, in London, so not far to go, and 10,000 metres!
I'm getting very excited, but hang on. Entry has shut for this year, so I shall be running in May 2011. Its a very long time away, but I honestly feel I can start running now, and find next year a doddle!
So, today goes to the number 10,000. You're now inducted into the Hall of Day Dedicatees!
