Mezza, as she is to her friends, was in The Devil Wears Prada, as I'm sure many of you will know. We watched it this afternoon - I hadn't seen it before, but bloody hell, what a good film! Wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but it was really good!

She's been in loads of good films, mind you. And do you not think she looks like Glenn Close, from Damages? Especially as Miranda. The picture to the right, men of the world.

You see, I have a bit of a thing for Nigella. She's absolutely stunning, and not only that, she's one of the best TV chefs around. She's warm, indulgent, not willing to cut back, and creates some brilliant dishes. For example, her Slut's Spaghetti. I kid you not.

I've got her Christmas book, and just ordered the new one, and that'll arrive early next week. Its going to be a brilliant book, and I think we all know that, by Christmas this year, everyone will be fed up of m new cookbook.

She 'regrets' her decision to do so - why do it anyway?! Maybe she's lonely - I don't know. Or maybe her cat had just died and she thought she'd give another a hand.

But today, we travelled up to Newcastle for a 50th birthday party, and I was looking around Twitter for a giggle, when I came across @CatBinLady - who is 'Mary Bale' doing things, then regretting them. Its brilliant.

I couldn't help myself, but I had to check every hour or so in case there was another. They're just really funny, given the whole situation.

Lets see if Bale gets locked up for it. Or gets an ASBO or something. Now that would be a giggle.

Next was everyone in work - we had a really good laugh today, but couldn't do that and single one out!

But today goes to ANDY WILMAN. Now you won't know the name - well, men of the world might. He's the producer of Top Gear over here in the UK, and has come under a fair bit of criticism in recent years for money, Jeremy's comments etc etc. Now everyone is slagging him off because Top Gear are taking HarperCollins to court over a book they plan to publish revealing who the Stig is.

And rightfully so - the Stig should have anonymity, and if contracts state so, court is the way to go. Andy wrote a brilliant statement today on the Top Gear website - witty, funny, yet putting a serious threat across at the same time.

I completely back them 100% - no-one should breach contracts, and especially not when its a massive corporation who will sue your arse.

Good luck Andy - you've certainly got my support.

Now Ole is most famous for THAT goal against Bayern Munich to clinch us the Champions League trophy in 1999 - the greatest comeback in sporting history? Certainly up there.

He was carted out by UEFA (or WAFER, as the presenters were calling it today) to do the Champions League group stage draws. Clever, I thought. Get someone who has made a massive influence to the competition for each draw.

Then Gary Lineker walked on.

But it brought back those memories. 'Beckham, into Sheringham, AND SOLSKJAER HAS DONE IT!'

Brilliant stuff. Best night in the club's history.

Now today, Dad and I visited the London Olympic site. Well, not visited, but looked at from a distance. Can't get too far in.

Bloody hell, it's big.

Saw the stadium, which is truly a spectacle. Gonna be a great focal point. Aquatics Centre looks larvely, and Velodrome looking good too. And the MASSIVE Westfield Centre opening near the station will be handy too. But none of this would have happened without old Sebby.

He won us the Games in 2005 with a truly staggering speech - which clinched it for us, as it turns out. Its whats going to pull us out of recession, and we're never gonna top Beijing - we admit that. But we're gonna put on a truly British show. Tea parties 'n' all.

But today has to go to the man behind what is soon-to-be the biggest track of the summer so far. Catchy, lyrically brilliant, a great video, and a charming title - the wonderfully named 'Fuck You'. Don't take offence from that, I'm just quoting...

Its a brilliant record, and when the radio edit is released, I'll be downloading that. Just cos Mum will wet herself if she hears an eff from my stereo.

But a brilliant record, that's below for you all to have a listen too. let me know what you think - Tweet me at @Adam9309.

Today goes to ALANAH SULLIVAN. I have a feeling she missed out first time round, but after Monday?! How could she miss out this time?!

Having not seen her in months, we had a hell of a lot to catch up on, so a trip to Starbucks was in order, where we spent the majority of a very rainy afternoon. And bloody hell it was a good laugh. Seeing as there were four of us from Twitter in there, it could have been a Tweetfest, but no, we kept phones down, and actually, I really enjoyed her company. Its been a while since I've been able to get out the house just for myself, so having a bit of time to be slightly self-indulgent and to catch up was lovely.

No, literally, its not off the telly.

She's just every man's dream. She's gorgeous, well into football, she is a stat magnet, and she's off the telly. Dec (off of Ant & Dec) is a very lucky man.

It's the big relaunch of Sky Sports News tomorrow morning - they go HD, new graphics, all sorts. Its gonna be brilliant, especially when its transfer deadline day next Tuesday. Very excited.

If Georgie ever happens to read this, she must know that what first introduced me to her was SSN, rather than t'internet. But God, she's stunning.

We were round at Daryl and Karen's tonight, and their son Oliver, is starting to go a bit fair on top. Karen reckons he may go ginger, and Daryl is dreading that moment, cos he knows exactly what will happen.

The last 10 years of taking the piss out of gingers will all come crawling back, and his son will be known as 'ginger'. It's his idea of hell.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning you all walking up to the next one you see in the street and shouting in his face 'GINGER!', but for Daryl, this would kill him.

Rupert kinda made being ginger cool, for about a year. Then it became a bit of a sticking point again.

I have nothing against gingers - they're a part of society, and are just like me and you. But to Daryl, he will never, ever live this down. Just cos its Daryl, really.

I mean, I bought a folder today, so I can start collecting recipes for uni, and already its half filled with Lisa's puddings and that beautiful monkfish dish she prepared today. Just stunning stuff. And Carmina Burana has just appeared on my iPod. Now this is slowly becoming very ironic.

But today doesn't go to any of my teachers, not even to Mrs Ganguly for getting me a very surprise B. She's already been, that's why.

Today does indeed, as you can see from the photo, go to MATT @ VODAFONE.

I've never met Matt. I never will. He sounded nice on the phone - he liked his job, likes parties at weekends and owns an iPhone. This is how much we chatted on the phone.

But now, I am also about to become the VERY proud owner of an iPhone 4. After the countless complaints to Vodafone over the handsets and the customer service, they finally paid attention and sorted my phone out, offering me and Katie an early upgrade.

Ooop, O Fortuna has started now, gimme two minutes to shout my head off.

That's better.

But yes, iPhone. It will arrive in the next couple of weeks, which is great news, so hopefully I can get rid of this pile of junk as soon as possible. Am getting very excited now!

So thanks Matt, and Vodafone. Great to see that actually, after a little bit of provoking, everything can be hunkydory in seconds. 2 very happy customers over here in Hitchin!

It didn't go that way, and most of it was spent baking, or waiting for Vodafone. I've baked a lot this week - I do it when I have things on my mind, I've worked out.

But with no Isobel, who do I tell these things on my mind? DAISY BUCK, that's who. And I've been doing it for going on a year now.

She's quite happy to sit and listen, then pick everything apart, and tell you what she would do, and then what you should do. When she texts back that is - Daisy has a very poor speed at texting back.

But she's so warm and kind, and she really will be honest with you. She's just a brilliant person to be around, and I'm quite proud to call her a best friend. Admittedly, I have a few, but she's right on in there.

On a lighter note, however, I had an abundance of people I could Dedicate too today. Harry Redknapp was one, after Spurs' quite embarrassing defeat to Young Boys in the Champions League, for him to blame the pitch. Again. It kinda grates now, Harry.

Mr Starbucks, whomever he may be, could have got it too, seeing as I decided to try and apply for a second job there. I am attempting to gain a little more money...

But no. Today goes to STEVE JOBS. Because Steve Jobs is the man who is behind the iPhone, of which I'm days away from getting. Booya.

Vodafone finally replied to my umpteenth complaint over the handset, the customer service and the signal, and offered me an early upgrade. Fair enough. So I'm going for an iPhone 4 - black, of course. With a bumper. I'm feeling those bumpers you get free.

Steve is an absolute idol. For a bloke who takes a salary of $1 a year, he's a genius. Not only has he become an icon, but he's created a brand of which no-one has ever seen before, and will probably never see again. The iPod has taken over the music market. The iPhone has taken over the phone market. The iMac and MacBook carved into the Windows monopoly of the PC market. And now the iPad is cruising in the tablet computer market. It's just incredible.

So, his final, and obviously most prestigious accolade to date is this.

Ah, another one of my bands that were played all over Radio 2 and still don't get tiresome. Today goes to LADY ANTEBELLUM.

Now I got into Lady Antebellum last October, when they were recommended to me by a fan well in the know of country music in America. I had a Spotify with their previous album, and fell in love. And then the second album came out.

It is, by far, the best country album I've ever heard. One of my guilty pleasures is country music - Patty Loveless, Carrie Underwood, Alison Krauss, Garth Brooks and Pete Seeger to name a few. I have a fair stash of decent albums of which I deem to be the best - Johnny Cash's 'American IV: The Man Comes Around' was my previous favourite.

But 'Need You Now' just crushes it. I don't know how, but it combines proper country beats with slow melodies, crashing lyrics and guitar playing and with the combination of silky and gravel voices over the top? It's just a magical album.

I can't believe I missed the concert Lady Antebellum played in London last week. I'd have paid whatever to get there. But I've heard they'll be back next year, and I think, by then, the fan base will be massive, and finally, FINALLY, new country will have taken off over here in the UK.

If you're not into your country music, listen to 'Need You Now', and you will instantly realise that country music isn't all about hats and boots, but has become a raunchy, sexy, incredibly melodic genre.

The man behind Mercedes, yes. Also the man behind why you see so many people on the road at every moment of the day. The headlights at night and the horns during the day. It's a good thing, but a bad at the same time. Yes, people may be visiting people, and its so easy to get there, but we're destroying the planet at the same time.

I still remember the day he died. We all thought it was a hoax when I found it on Twitter. It crashed that day for the first time. BBC News Channel had it covered, and we were up till gone one in the morning to find out what was going on. It was a horribly sad night - the world lost a great. And for months after, we remembered his music and saw his face everywhere on the telly.

Now I didn't really know of Christine beforehand, other than she was on I'm A Celebrity and she was married to Neil. And that a lot of people don't like her.

But she's a warm, funny character, who makes the most amazing food - I mean, I hate veg, and I would eat her food. And that picture - she's wearing her lucky shirt. I have one quite similar - that makes her cool already.

But I've really warmed to her - she's a really nice person with a lot of foody knowledge, and can make almost anything look and taste great. I'd happily have her round to cook.

Now, apparently, Real Madrid were involved, and very about to break the bank for him too, but for someone who hasn't proved himself? Fergie - remember Manucho?!

He'd only been at his previous club, Vitória Guimarães, for five weeks. Now that's some good business by them.

It followed the storyline of original cast member Megan, who had terminal cancer, and close friend Charlie, of whom she asked for help to commit suicide. Tess then got involved and emotionally attached, and it was the story of how she got through her battle, and then how the two of them let Megan kill herself. It was so beautifully written, so wonderfully acted and shot, and had me in pieces by the end of it.

But anyway, Gibbs is a character who you feel is like your friend from ages ago. You wouldn't want a drink with him, for fear of a bullet ending up between your brains and you being framed for a serial murder case...

JETHRO GIBBS, you are the Day Dedicatee for Thursday 5th August 2010.

The wedding cost an absolute bomb - upwards of £3m. It was a beautiful setting, and the guests were an incredible list of music stars, artists, film directors and other mad ways of getting in papers. And both Bill and Hilary looked great - Hilary looked stunning on both the Friday and Saturday. But what a horrible face Chelsea pulled throughout.

Oh wait, that's her normal face.

Now don't get me wrong, in the right light and on the right occasion, no-one is prettier than Chelsea, but she looked like she had had her face filled with Botox, but far too much.

Hey ho, I'm sure they're happy!

Wyclef moved from Haiti to America when he was 9, but has been fundamental over the last 12 months in rebuilding the country devastated by the earthquake that was all over the news. He then became a god-like figure, even more so than he previously was to the Haitians.

And that's why he's chosen to run for Presidency. As a US Ambassador, and a UNICEF one too, it makes perfect sense. He's willing to put his reputation on the line, and become a political figure, to help create a better nation for the place he loves so much.

Now that's what I call patriotic.

So, the catch up begins!

Got to Grandad's this morning, and as usual, we found ten ton of papers stacked neatly on the breakfast bar. Had a flick through the Mail, and saw nothing, but spotted a big, yellow box on the back of the Mirror slagging off football and all that goes with it. I squinted (my glasses were upstairs and I couldn't be arsed to get them...) and worked out it was, in fact, ROBBIE SAVAGE.

Now Robbie currently plays for Derby County, but whilst he was at Birmingham and Blackburn, I thought he was a brilliant player. He was very fluid with the ball, could play killer passes, scored the odd goal, and made the 'decent' tackle so the defender knew he wasn't messing around. He was a world-class player.

And now, playing in the Championship, he's captain of his team, and also one of the best players in the division. And very close to being the oldest. He's a top, top player with a great sense of humour, and deserves today.

ROBBIE SAVAGE, you are the Day Dedicatee for Monday 2nd August 2010.

Was sat watching Top Gear this evening, with it being slightly delayed, and realised just how brilliant JAMES MAY really is. His trademark word of 'cock' hasn't featured for a few episodes, but his personality is just brilliant. Even if Jeremy and annoying Richard with his long hair hate him.

But May really does some up Top Gear. It can be technical at times, and is very knowledgeable about what it does, but at all times, is an absolute barrel of laughs. And you wouldn't mind sharing a drink with him.

I mean, I'd go as far as saying I'd quite happily listen to him talk facts and figures all day, just waiting for that little gem.

JAMES MAY, you are the Day Dedicatee for Sunday 1st August 2010.
