First singer! So I woke up, got dressed, met Will downstairs, and we turned on VH1. Who comes on? Tracy Chapman.
Fast Car - one of the finest songs ever written. Just a sublime, sublime song. Lots of artists have covered it, but she was the original, and hers was the best.
It makes me smile, and I've been humming it all day, and all night. Just such a brilliant record. I'll be singing it tomorrow too!
