We finally got back today, having had a brilliant week, and I've been sat catching up on blogs, emails and complaints all afternoon, to make sure I can cook, clean and sleep tomorrow.

But I sat down this evening to finally catch up on Casualty, and I've never been so moved over a piece of British drama in my life. The programme was so beautiful, and today goes to DECLAN EAMES, the director of tonight's episode.

It followed the storyline of original cast member Megan, who had terminal cancer, and close friend Charlie, of whom she asked for help to commit suicide. Tess then got involved and emotionally attached, and it was the story of how she got through her battle, and then how the two of them let Megan kill herself. It was so beautifully written, so wonderfully acted and shot, and had me in pieces by the end of it.

If this one episode doesn't win awards for how well it was made, then nothing will.

DECLAN EAMES, you are the Day Dedicatee for Saturday 7th August 2010.

Ah, there's the evil, scathing, recession-enforcing twat.

Ah, that's better. As you can see, that burk to the right is ROBERT PESTON, the man I single-handedly blame to have created the massive furore over the recession.

Think about it. He publicised the Northern Rock crisis, and yes, we were on the verge of a downturn anyway, but why tell people to worry, and worry, and take their money out, and worry, and worry, and then near enough finish your report with THE WORLD WILL END.

Obviously , I will emphasise now, this are entirely my views, and not of any other corporation, company or organisation I am affiliated to. Seeing as we've had 'issues', let's say. I don't mean to offend, but we all have a right to free speech and to speak our minds.

But this man, who wore a brown suit last week, and I Tweeted about it being because of all the shit that comes out his gob - of which I was retweeted several times, proving its not just me - has caused catastrophic circumstances to families across the country.

Well done Rob. You always wanted to up your ego, and there you have it. Thanks for ruining my university fund, Dad's job, and also his sight. Your wonderful work blew his retina, and now he is blind in one eye.

ROBERT PESTON, you are the Day Dedicatee for Friday 6th August 2010.

Now Gibbs has been in the show since the very beginning. He's a decent character, and it's not that bad a programme - providing you watch from the beginning. Not ideal if you watch the rest of the programme but missed the death...

But anyway, Gibbs is a character who you feel is like your friend from ages ago. You wouldn't want a drink with him, for fear of a bullet ending up between your brains and you being framed for a serial murder case...

Having finally got hold of the pictures of the big political wedding of the year, I have to say, I'm impressed. But by nothing, other than the venue and guest list. Today goes to CHELSEA CLINTON, and in particular, her wedding.

The wedding cost an absolute bomb - upwards of £3m. It was a beautiful setting, and the guests were an incredible list of music stars, artists, film directors and other mad ways of getting in papers. And both Bill and Hilary looked great - Hilary looked stunning on both the Friday and Saturday. But what a horrible face Chelsea pulled throughout.

Oh wait, that's her normal face.

Now don't get me wrong, in the right light and on the right occasion, no-one is prettier than Chelsea, but she looked like she had had her face filled with Botox, but far too much.

Hey ho, I'm sure they're happy!

Wyclef moved from Haiti to America when he was 9, but has been fundamental over the last 12 months in rebuilding the country devastated by the earthquake that was all over the news. He then became a god-like figure, even more so than he previously was to the Haitians.

And that's why he's chosen to run for Presidency. As a US Ambassador, and a UNICEF one too, it makes perfect sense. He's willing to put his reputation on the line, and become a political figure, to help create a better nation for the place he loves so much.

Now that's what I call patriotic.

So, the catch up begins!

Got to Grandad's this morning, and as usual, we found ten ton of papers stacked neatly on the breakfast bar. Had a flick through the Mail, and saw nothing, but spotted a big, yellow box on the back of the Mirror slagging off football and all that goes with it. I squinted (my glasses were upstairs and I couldn't be arsed to get them...) and worked out it was, in fact, ROBBIE SAVAGE.

Now Robbie currently plays for Derby County, but whilst he was at Birmingham and Blackburn, I thought he was a brilliant player. He was very fluid with the ball, could play killer passes, scored the odd goal, and made the 'decent' tackle so the defender knew he wasn't messing around. He was a world-class player.

And now, playing in the Championship, he's captain of his team, and also one of the best players in the division. And very close to being the oldest. He's a top, top player with a great sense of humour, and deserves today.

ROBBIE SAVAGE, you are the Day Dedicatee for Monday 2nd August 2010.

Was sat watching Top Gear this evening, with it being slightly delayed, and realised just how brilliant JAMES MAY really is. His trademark word of 'cock' hasn't featured for a few episodes, but his personality is just brilliant. Even if Jeremy and annoying Richard with his long hair hate him.

But May really does some up Top Gear. It can be technical at times, and is very knowledgeable about what it does, but at all times, is an absolute barrel of laughs. And you wouldn't mind sharing a drink with him.

I mean, I'd go as far as saying I'd quite happily listen to him talk facts and figures all day, just waiting for that little gem.

JAMES MAY, you are the Day Dedicatee for Sunday 1st August 2010.
