None of you will be interested in this one - unless your name is Damian. But tonight, I will be awake until 3 o'clock tomorrow morning. Because tonight is the biggest annual sporting spectacle the world sees. Tonight, is SUPER BOWL XLIV.

Its the New Orleans Saints versus the Indianapolis Colts tonight, and its going to be a very high scoring game. Both teams have a good offense, and quite a poor (compared to other teams) defense, which should lead to a really good match.

I'm backing the Saints, but most believe the Colts will take it tonight. But you watch it for the show, and how big America can make this programme, rather than the game! The Who are on at half time, with Carrie Underwood singing the anthem. Brilliant.

So, let the game begin.

You may think this is a bit weird, but I shall explain. Last night, I decided to try and organise all my 'media projects'. The newspaper, the podcast, and the BBC School Report/Sport Relief projects. This meant that my old notebooks weren't good enough for the job, so what came along to fix it? PUKKA PADS.

What a brilliant invention. Their only difference between a normal pad is the fact that they were the first to introduce dividers in their books. They can charge extortionate prices for a notebook - some are about £7 - and the paper is good quality, but they caught the market just when it arrived. Cheaper alternatives - some probably better - have come along, but the audience are already captivated with the good ol' Pukka Pad. Brilliant.

Another speedy one, but I'm all outta ideas! I'm really uninspired for everything at the minute!

Today goes to the SCHOOL NEWSPAPER - the HBS Chronicle. I'm helping put it all together - and everything seems to be going well. We have a team of dedicated people who are really interested in what they are doing, and over 30 people involved show it is still growing.

We want ideas to funnel through, so having segmented areas make it all good. And everything works, and is slowly coming together to make the best issue we've had so far.

So, the HBS Chronicle, and SCHOOL NEWSPAPERS, you are the Day Dedicatee for Friday 5th February 2010.

Going to be very quick - I have a lot of blog updating to do!

Today goes to SPORT RELIEF. We've chosen the charity as our form charity fundraiser, and the aspirations are high. I've been put in overall charge, and we're going to try and raise more money than any other form has before. We're going to aim for about £6,500.

Now thats a lot of money. And a lot of effort too. We've decided to have a week of events, including the Sport Relief Mile. Very exciting.

Wednesday 3rd February 2010 - The Sea

Something I wanted to do yesterday after hearing it for the first time. Wanted to sit down and just write to it while I revelled in how good this album really was. Today goes to THE SEA, the new Corinne Bailey Rae album.

For those of you who don't know why this album is quite poignant, it is because Corinne's husband died of a drug overdose in 2008. But through that, she found the inspiration for this album. Going back to Frank Gardner, she has courage that I don't think I'd have. If I had to write a song about a lost love on, it would rip me to shreds every time I sang it.

There is a song though that just game me goosebumps, and still does now I've heard it and listened into what she's saying. It is called, funnily enough, 'The Sea', and closes the album. It has a moment after about three minutes where there is a slight break, and a key change, and the roar of the strings just make me realise that actually, not everything in the world is as bad as it seems. Things really can get better, and all it takes is a bit of fixing, thinking and sorting to make it all worthwhile.

So if you get the chance, just listen to that one track. I'm so glad I did - really did make my day.

Tuesday 2nd February 2010 - Making A Difference

I apologise if this turns into me preaching to you all again, but I feel, on today of all days, this one should come out. Today goes to MAKING A DIFFERENCE.

Now yesterday, I 'announced' to everyone my intentions to run a mini-marathon next year. I thought it was quite a nice time to do it, but I didn't mention my reasons. They will all come out later on in the year.

But then, this morning, we had aman called Paul Harris come in and take assembly. He started, and I thought 'here we go...', but by the end, I felt inspired. Probably because of what it was about, but it really hit it home for me.

He started to talk to us at depth about what he thought - he is a Christian leader, but his religion didn't come across at all. He discussed Haiti, and world poverty, and then came up with this little gem.

'The world is waiting for a generation to change'

He is so right. All this globe needs is a generation of people who are willing to give, and do what it takes to ensure eternal happiness on Earth. And yes, everyone will be sad at some point, but in terms of a global scale. So to do this, we solve world poverty, we find cures for AIDS and cancer - two of the biggest killers in the world, and we enable the poorest countries in the world to fend for themselves.

All we have to do, is simply make a difference. If every person who isn't in poverty on the planet, we'd have £3billion at the disposal of the charities and aid companies. All it takes is for people to give up a little of what they have, and the world will become such a better place.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE, you are the Day Dedicatee for Tuesday 2nd February 2010.

Monday 1st February 2010 - Frank Gardner

Today will be relatively short, because it isn't actually finished! Today goes to FRANK GARDNER.

Now I doubt many of you will know who Frank Gardner is. This man is probably one of the most corageous men alive. But he is only alive by a mass of love, warmth and luck.

You see, Frank is the BBC Security Correspondent. He has a fond love of travel, and to be given the chance to travel across the globe mixing two of his favourite things is the best thing in the world for him. But in 2004, Frank was shot 6 times by Al-Qaeda. His cameraman died. He was left bleeding to death in the middle of a road - even though he was shouting for help in Arabic.

After 7 very long months, and a period of depression, Frank finally came to the understanding that he would never be able to walk again.

6 years later though, and Frank is back in the Middle East reporting, he is skiing using a bob-ski, he is trekking through jungles, and is able to stand for periods of time on a frame.

This man just shows the courage we should all have in life.

FRANK GARDNER, you are the Day Dedicatee for Monday 1st February 2010.
