I, Adam Mills, formally resign from my position as cricket scorer at Hitchin Cricket Club, from herein after. As I now have a permanent job! So naturally, today goes to JOBS!
I am now a 'Technical Assistant' down at the local computer repair shop, where I did some work experience. Very excited actually - have missed the place. Plus it means more moeny, and more job satisfaction! Bonus!
Anyway, JOBS, you are the Day Dedicatee for Friday 30th April 2010.
From the 12th July 2010, Day Dedication Mk II returns - bigger than ever. As usual, I'll be Dedicating each and every day to someone, but this time, you can all join in too! Drop us a Tweet, email or message through the 'Contact Us' tab!

Thursday 29th April 2010 - Training
You may have noticed that blogs have been getting shorter recently. As well as winding this little bugger down for its summer holiday, I've also begun TRAINING. For a potential marathon.
And also, training for World Cup Wonder. Been looking at teams and things. Looking good.
But anyway, running is the priority for the next month or so. I like the serenity of town when theres no-one about, and the sun is just coming up. Thats always nice.

Wednesday 28th April 2010 - 1
First. Only. Best. Today goes to a number - the number ONE, in fact.
Some of you may be wondering why. In fact, I bet all of you are. The clue today is in the date.
No, still nothing?
Okay, I'll explain. It is one month today that Day Dedication shuts its doors for a bit whilst I live in hope for a bit of inspiration so I don't have to move on to the next idea!
We've had over 200 posts, and my thoughts are for a continuation after the 28th May until the 14th September. That way, at least we have a year's worth of entries and I can lay the thing to rest with a bit of dignity and a smile on my face.
Still, lots of things to take into consideration first, so all shall change inevitably!

Tuesday 27th April 2010 - Vogue
So, after a mammoth 2-day session of rebuilding my iPod, I can finally resume revision. Oh, and all my projects. To which today, I have added another. All shall be revealed in due course!
Anyway, today's blog should be a big enough clue. Today goes to VOGUE, the Madonna record. In particular, the dance.
Probably one of the most iconic music videos of all time, this just bent every single rule in the book, and produced an absolutely sublime record at the end of it too. I love this video - have done for years. It was on Glee last night, and it was brilliant. But still, where do I fit in to all this? And why is it another project?
You'll find out!

Monday 26th April 2010 - 2010 London Marathon
So, after a very long day yesterday, I can finally sit down and write it's blog. You see, yesterday our hard drive crashed and literally burned, so now its a job of finding where everything was backed up, and replenishing it. Not fun.
But, on the contrary, the 2010 LONDON MARATHON took place Sunday, and that WAS fun. I'm entering the ballot to take part in 2011, with everything crossed it will happen. I'm very excited, and am already planning training - with or without the ultimate goal. I'd like to run it for Oxfam - its one everyone will run for, but I believe they do a lot of good in the world. Either them or (RED).
Anyway, well done to everyone who finished, in particularly Mr Wilson and Mr Rombout, who both ran it from school.

Sunday 25th April 2010 - World Malaria Day
From the euphoria of yesterday to something like this.
As many of you know, I'm a big backer of charity - specifically things that help Africa. And today is WORLD MALARIA DAY - a day organised to demonstrate just how much of the world is affected by the deadly disease, and a day organised to help raise money to eradicate it.
So, where do you all think of instantly when the world 'malaria' is mentioned? Africa. But no, thats not just it.... Did you know that actually, South America has the second largest amount of deaths on the planet due to malaria? Or that China actually have deaths due to the disease? Mexico, India, Indonesia, even Australia.
So, if you can, buy a malaria net. They cost about £5 - but that £5 can help save a life. A little can do a lot.

Saturday 24th April 2010 - Me
Simple really. As the Official Birthday Boy, I only feel that the person who gets today, is, ME.
Okay, I'm not that arrogant. It's a joint one - but that picture I love. Look at that sexy squint.
Katie and I turned 17 today, and we've had a lovely day. I got my birthday tour round town with Isobel, got lots of money for London next week, and had a brilliant evening - even if the barbeque didn't work!
Yes, there are a few spats to sort out, and a lot of spills to wipe up, but we had a good night. As did next door by what was said over the fence!
