So, I did mention an announcement was imminent. And this is it.
I didn't intend for this to happen - it just has. 374 posts, over a year of my life, in one place. Today is the end of Day Dedication.
I was gonna try and keep going till Christmas, then let it naturally end, but I think I'm gonna draw a line here. We've had some fun though haven't we?!
So, 127 Day Dedicatees on from the original end, we've reached THE end. An idea ironically written on the back of a napkin, that becomes this little blog, part of the big world wide web.
We've made plenty of famous friends - Ellen, Jake Humphrey, Danny Wallace, even X Factor Voiceover Man, Peter Dickson. But the one question I get asked a hell of a lot - who was my favourite Day Dedicatee? It has to be you lot.
Last May, I said goodbye for the first time while I worked on other projects with a little blog about you all. Since then though, we've made so many more friends - readership is now regularly hundreds a day, we've had over 2,000 hits since the 1st of November, the majority now come from the States, we have regulars in Russia, Japan, Indonesia, Argentina, Brazil, Italy, France, Sweden, China - across the globe. Blogs have been picked up by so many people, and thankfully, inspired many too. I receive emails every few weeks telling me how much something has touched them - it tends to be the one about Nana.
I'm also very proud of you all. With my charity blogs over the last 12 months or so, if every one of you who clicked on the donate links had given £1, we'll have raised over £1,500. That's a big deal for a tiny blog like ours.
I've written loads of blogs - Google my name and you'll probably find them all. But Day Dedication is the one I've stuck with - the one I've enjoyed the most. The one blog that depicts a year in my life.
So many posts showing everything about my day. Just one little thing. Christmas in New York, Formula 1, John Legend, One EskimO, Jessica Ennis, Twitter, Business exams, Radio 1, Marathons, Macs, Kylie, The Chronicle, Gaga, Mum, Football, NFL, Pukka Pads, Eczema, number blogs! I've had such fun this afternoon with coffee, a big bag of crisps, and my laptop, just scrolling through how much I've enjoyed the last year.
The whole point of this blog was to do some good in the world - to make someone's day just like they had made mine. I think I can safely say that between us all, we've achieved that.
This isn't goodbye - oh no, there's plenty of other projects brewing ready for implementation. You can always have a gander at My Food Revolution, my little foody picture blog. Or have a look at The United Way - all about the greatest football team in the world. I'll definitely be posting up and around here with new ideas and things, so Day Dedication isn't dead. Just being put to bed for a bit, just waiting to be woken back up.
So, enjoy your day everyone, knowing that today, and for every day coming, YOU are the Day Dedicatee.
Have a lovely Christmas, Happy Holidays, and speak soon.
Peace and love from your very proud friend,
Adam xxx

Wednesday 3rd November 2010 - Ludovico Einaudi
I was sat in bed last night, and heard some music I instantly recognised. But I just couldn't put a title to it. It was so frustrating, because all I wanted to do was download it, and that would have been happy days. So I spent hours today hunting it down. Seeing as 4oD wouldn't work.....
And I Shazamed it, and kicked myself for not realising sooner. It was, of course, LUDOVICO EINAUDI, the man I believe to be the greatest composer of the 21st century.
He composed a piece called 'I Giorni', which I'm sure the majority of you will have heard used on the BBC a lot the last few months. Also a piece called 'Divenere', which has been used on a lot of TV programmes. They're the two you'll know anyway.
But if you haven't discovered his otehr work, do. It is beautiful, almost angelic, and will send you into a very relaxed state. It is incredible.
Have a look for him - Spotify him, YouTube him, even buy his albums off Amazon - just find 5 minutes, and click play.

Tuesday 2nd November 2010 - U2
Well, as promised, a blog all about the brilliant U2. It's just a bit late.....
Now I love U2 - they are the best band in the world, without question. They spawn too many hits to not be. Vertigo, With Or With You, New Year's Day, Beautiful Day, Get On Your Boots, Elevation... The list goes on.
And Dad and I were so close to seeing them last year too..... It was the gig at Wembley Stadium on 14th August 2009 - The Claw was there and everything. But we flew home from the States that day, so we missed it! We did however fly straight over it so at elast saw a bit! That's my claim to fame anyway...
But the only thing missing is a Christmas album - then they'd be my favourite act of all time. So off you go boys.

Monday 1st November 2010 - Rovio Mobile
A quick blog tonight about the creators of Angry Birds, ROVIO MOBILE.
Now very little in known about the company, bar the fact they have created an absolute phenomenon in the iOS world. I've just (finally) bought it for 59 of my good English pence on iTunes, and love it. Now I knew about it and have played it before, but tried to avoid it. Now I have it, and larve it. What a great game!
Three stars, here we come!

Sunday 31st October 2010 - Troy Smith
TOUCHDOWN!
I love my NFL - my team are the 49ers, if you're wondering. I got into it a bit last season, and really into it this, so it was great to hear that we'd be playing at Wembley as part of the International Series. Obviously, tickets were like gold dust, so couldn't get any, but I watched the 3-hour epic on Sky, and loved every second of it.
The first three quarters weren't great, but Q4 was the best I've seen for a very long time. Now we lost our quarterback for the game, Alex Smith, which was an absolute blessing. I don't rate him at all - we pay him an extortionate amount, but he does nothing but stand there throwing to the opposition all day. No wonder we've been losing.
So in came TROY SMITH, a rookie QB who only signed for us at the start of September. It was the first time an African-American QB had started for the 49ers, so that was a bit of history in itself. But bloody hell, he's good.
He can throw whilst running, which is the first sign of a great QB. His passes are pin-point - I only counted one that went astray yesterday. He's quick, and has great footwork too, and is also willing to get himself forward to, to score that elusive TD we've been missing all season.
He got that touchdown yesterday, and threw a fair few killer passes too. His vision is great too. We gained 21 points within 8 and a half minutes in the 4th quarter. Admittedly, we need a bit of work on our defense, but today, we found a future star of the sport.

Saturday 30th October 2010 - Cher Lloyd
At 8pm this evening, I switched over to ITV, like I do every Saturday night. The X Factor Tweeting began, and I was back under way with my usual Saturday regime. A giggle at Tesco Mary, the odd quip about Louis and his aggravating remarks, Matt's hat, Trey with a C's teeth, Katie's pigeon shit eyelashes, and CHER LLOYD'S rapping... Wait, rapping?
This week, it was Halloween week. All the songs had to be spooky, haunting, goosebump-creating. I didn't expect Cher to come out and sing a bit of Shakespears Sister. She sand 'Stay' tonight, and it was safely the most beautiful rendition of the song I've ever heard. And not a rap in sight.
It was scary, it was haunting, it was emotional, it was just what was needed to end the show. I was genuinely very shocked by it. Mum and Dad shouting at the telly saying she was crap, me sat in the corner telling my followers that actually, that could have just won the hearts of millions of ITV watchers.
I didn't like Cher one bit, but if she keeps singing, and not resorting to pointless rapping, she'll have my vote.

Friday 29th October 2010 - Take That
As with the majority of people on the internet yesterday, I was hunting for TAKE THAT tickets. Not for me, for Mum and Katie. So I got on at quarter past 9. And got off at half past 3. To get back on at half 4, to get off at half 7. And we only just got 5 tickets.
Bearing in mind the tickets for the new tour went on sale at 9, and there were 20 million hits on Ticketmaster alone, we were very lucky. But God I was fed up of F5 by the end of the day. £60 a ticket. And I'm not even going.
We had a dodgy call from some fake company because Katie gave some details away a bit stupidly, we had 3 laptops going, 2 PCs, 3 phones and Mum on the phone to get them. What a faff. I bet they wouldn't have done that for me for Kylie.
But whose to say that Kylie isn't gonna be with Take That?! Just throwing that out there.....
